Content Rules
Create with permission. Rules for portraits, music, impersonation, and sharing AI video.
Last updated: 2026-10-24
Start with permission
Use a photo of yourself or an adult who has explicitly agreed to its use in AI video generation. For Duo, get permission from both people. Owning a photo file does not necessarily grant the rights to the person’s likeness or the photographer’s work.
Keep it safe and lawful
Do not create sexual or exploitative material, content involving sexualized minors, threats, hate, targeted harassment, or material that promotes serious harm. Do not use private images without consent or submit identifying information that is not needed for a performance.
No impersonation or copied music
Do not request a celebrity or other recognizable person’s voice, identity, or endorsement. Do not submit copyrighted lyrics or request an existing song to be recreated. Use your own creative direction and avoid suggestions that imply a real person said or endorsed the generated words.
Share responsibly
Review the entire output before sharing. Make its AI-generated nature clear when it could be mistaken for an authentic recording. Do not use generated videos for fraud, misleading advertising, false evidence, or deceptive political communications. Do not remove disclosures in a way that misleads viewers.
Reporting a problem
If your image or work appears without permission, report it through the account support ticket page with enough detail to identify the task or result. Do not send passwords or sensitive identity documents in an ordinary ticket. We may restrict requests or accounts that violate these rules. A request passing automated checks does not mean it is authorized or lawful.
