What this notice covers

Rap Video Studio processes information needed to run your account, provide requested videos and handle purchases and support.

Information we process

We process your account name and email, authentication records, uploaded photos, creative directions, generation settings, task status, resulting videos, credit transactions, and support messages. Operational records can include request timestamps and error details. Do not put sensitive personal information in your creative direction.

Why we process it

We use this information to sign you in, verify your email, run generation requests, show your history, deliver downloads, maintain your credit balance, respond to support requests, and investigate abuse or failures. Necessary cookies support authentication and preferences.

Services involved

A generation provider receives the images and creative instructions needed to process a submitted task. Storage infrastructure holds inputs and results. Purelymail handles transactional email. Stripe processes checkout details when you make a payment. We do not receive or store your complete card number. Providers may process information in countries other than your own.

Google sign-in

If you choose Sign in with Google, Google authenticates you and shares your account identifier, name, email address, email verification status and profile picture with Rap Video Studio. We use these details and the resulting authentication records to create or identify your account and keep you signed in. The sign-in flow requests basic identity information; it does not request access to your Gmail messages or Google Drive files. Email and password sign-in remains available.

Photos and results

Your account history is not a public gallery. Access to uploaded photos and generated results is restricted through the service. A generation provider must be able to retrieve the inputs required for your task. Do not upload material you are not authorized to share with those processors. We do not promise a fixed retention period or perpetual hosting. Download results you want to keep.

Access and deletion requests

You can update available profile details in account settings. To request access to or deletion of account data, open a support ticket from your account. Some transaction or security records may need to be retained to resolve disputes or meet applicable obligations. Deleting a result does not necessarily erase a provider's separately retained operational records.

Security and changes

We use access controls to restrict account data, but cannot guarantee that storage or transmission will always be risk-free. If we change this notice, the updated date will appear here. Rap Video Studio is an independent service operated by an individual based in Hong Kong. For privacy or data requests, contact support.

HEIC photos and languages

Photo detection runs in your browser using self-hosted face and object models. It detects people, cats and dogs; it does not identify a person or an animal. Photos and detection boxes are not sent to a recognition service, and boxes or manual-review approvals are not saved. Performer types and order are saved as creative settings in the local draft and submitted task. Reloading repeats detection. Photo uploads for explicit video generation follow the rules above.

HEIC still photos are decoded and converted to JPEG in your browser before any upload. Only the normalized JPEG is uploaded when you explicitly submit it; the original HEIC and its metadata are not uploaded. Language preferences guide the interface, transactional emails and checkout returns. Selecting a performance language is a creative direction, and reference recordings are not automatically translated.

Sharing and credit gifts

Your library is private unless you explicitly create a share link. Anyone with that link can view and copy the finished video, which may contain faces, voices, names or lyrics. Raw inputs and private settings are excluded. Links expire within the original file retention period. Revoking a link stops future access, but cannot recall copies already downloaded. A credit gift records the recipient’s verified account email and the credit transfer; it does not automatically send an email notification.
